What made you think of migrating to Australia?
When I came to know that my engineering degree is under the Washington Accord and one of my friends advised me to migrate to Australia. I decided to apply for Subclass 476 visa.

Australia is a developed country. There is a great scope for civil engineers in the construction field.
What’s the best way to get the application processed for subclass 476 visa?
“Jiska Kaam ussi ko Saajay” (opt for an expert). Most of the engineers don’t know how difficult it can be. Initially, I applied as self-applicant and didn’t go to a professional visa consultant. My grant was delayed for this reason. I’d always recommend fresh engineers to apply through a professional migration agency.
Can you briefly tell us about the way you finally got your grant processed?
I applied during September 2018 as self-applicant, but didn’t get to anything till July 2019. One of my friends told me about CMS Migration. I also knew about them and that they were posting new grants regularly on their social media pages. I decided to hand over my case to them and with their assistance I got my grant within one month.
What are your future plans?
I will work in my professional field, pursue Masters and then I have plans to start my own construction company in Australia.
What message would you give to Pakistani engineering graduates who are looking forward to relocate to Australia for better career opportunities?
Being engineers we are the builders of our nation. In international companies, we have better job opportunities waiting for us. Engineers should always hunt for jobs abroad and Subclass 476 Visa is a golden opportunity to hunt for jobs in Australia.
